The Plasma Control Technologies division is a global leader in the development and production of high-performance vacuum capacitors, RF modules and RF generators as required in the manufacture of semiconductors, flat screens, solar cells and radio transmitters.
At the German PCT site, the expertise is mainly in the field of RF generators.

Tasks:
- Responsible to execute COMET’s compliance strategy
- Review national and international regulations and ensure that they are fulfilled
- Review compliance requirements during product development and release
- Review technical documentation regarding compliance requirements and activities (internal and third party)
- Define compliance requirements on component level and monitor compliance status
- Identify gaps and non-compliance issues and work closely together with R&D to close these gaps
- Define test plan and time schedule in alignment with R&D and project management´s overall program schedule
- Undertake compliance testing and work closely with third party and sub-contractors
- Review test data regarding compliance requirements
- Record test results and maintain compliance data base
- Undertake and support risk assessments in collaboration with R&D
Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of RF products within semiconductor industry
- Very Good knowledge of EMC regulations and testing (EMC directive, EN 55011, EN61000-6-2, EN 61326-1, IEC60601-1-2)
- Very Good knowledge of functional safety and risk assessment (IEC, EN, UL 61010; IEC60601-1, machinery directve, low voltage directive)
- Very Good knowledge of CE/UL compliance requirements
- Very Good knowledge of RoHS, REACH, TSCA compliance requirements
- Good knowledge of WEEE and SCIP
- Knowledge of SEMI standards of advantage (SEMI S2,S8, S22 F47)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with MS preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor environment or compliance testing laboratory
- Experience managing and maintaining positive external business relationships
- Work independently to perform technical tasks as assigned
- Occasional travel may be required
- Able to work in a matrix organization
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated to meet personal, team, and corporate goals
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service for both internal and external customers
