The Plasma Control Technologies division is a global leader in the development and production of high-performance vacuum capacitors, RF modules and RF generators as required in the manufacture of semiconductors, flat screens, solar cells and radio transmitters. At the German PCT site, the expertise is mainly in the field of RF generators.

You are responsible for all customer related tasks and activities, such as complaints management and adjacent activities, communication with customers in case of quality issues, quality engineering for the continuous improvement process in production lines and continuous improvement of product quality.

 

Your tasks:

 

    • Complaint management, documentation (SAP & MS Office) and reporting
    • Customer communication in case of quality issues
    • Tracking of all improvement topics of product quality including production
    • Conducting quality tasks in the NPI-process
    • Close co-working with production, R&D department as well as project management to ensure continuous improvement of quality
    • KPI-based performance management of the defined quality metrics in close co-work with the other departments
    • Support of quality management for continued improvement of processes

 

Your qualifications and experience:

 

  • Degree as Engineer (Dipl.-Ing. TH, B.Eng. / M.Eng. in electrical engineering/electronics, high frequency, quality engineering) or technical education to industrial master (mechanical or electrical engineering)
  • Experience in customer communication in case of quality issues and escalations
  • Proven record of success in improved quality
  • Self-reliant, pro-active, analytical and well-structured way of working
  • Ability to work in a team, excellent communication skills and assertiveness to achieve defined goals 
  • Willing to do national and international travel
  • Profound knowledge of common quality tools (i.e. 8D, 5S, Six Sigma, SPC, PPAP/APQP) as well as MS Office programs
  • Professional proficiency of German and very good English skills (oral and written, B1/C1)
