The Plasma Control Technologies division is a global leader in the development and production of high-performance vacuum capacitors, RF modules and RF generators as required in the manufacture of semiconductors, flat screens, solar cells and radio transmitters. At the German PCT site, the expertise is mainly in the field of RF generators.

We are looking for an

Engineer Design Verification and Testing - DVT  (m/f/d)

The main objective of the position is to plan, execute and evaluate tests for technical qualification of high frequency generators, matching networks and their subcomponents.

Your responsibilities:

• Designing, building and setting up test benches in the development lab (hardware and software).
• Development of "test cases" based on the DUT specification
• Execution of manual and automated tests
• Creating automated evaluations and visualizations of test results
• Commissioning and testing of prototypes in the course of product development projects
• Close cooperation with R&D hardware and software developers
• Support for external EMC, HALT, lifetime, stress tests regarding high frequency systems and modules
• Support in the transfer of test scenarios from the development area to production

Your qualifications:

• Successfully completed engineering studies or technician training (specializing in electrical engineering, engineering sciences, information technology, mechatronics or similar)
• Knowledge of analog and digital measurement technology
• Confident handling of measuring instruments such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, etc.
• Very good knowledge in test automation
• Programming experience (Python, C etc.)
• Initial experience in project management and in working with interdisciplinary expert groups
• Practical experience in working with electronic circuits, components or systems
• Ideally, experience in the field of high-frequency circuit technology and/or with circuits in the embedded system area
• German and English -  fluently in word and writing
