The Plasma Control Technologies division is a global leader in the development and production of high-performance vacuum capacitors, RF modules and RF generators as required in the manufacture of semiconductors, flat screens, solar cells and radio transmitters. At the German PCT site, the expertise is mainly in the field of RF generators.
For our New Product Introduction team at our site in Aachen we are looking for a
NPI-RF-Test Engineer (m/f/d)
In this role, you will lead automation efforts and will be responsible for hardware-related measurement system development from initial design to production release.
Your tasks:
- Design, creation, execution and validation of test systems for the manufacturing area.
- Development and implementation of a comprehensive infrastructure for automated tests
- Development and implementation of a test and data management
- Testing of prototypes: RF generators, amplifiers, matches and related assemblies in collaboration with our development area
- Develop project initiatives to improve production performance and quality incorporating lean tools, visual management, 5S, JIT, Lean Six Sigma, Kanban, among others.
- Development and implementation of automated tests with associated data management
- Actively participate in global product transfer projects within COMET manufacturing sites.
- Proactively identify and communicate risks and improvement opportunities across the product range
You have the following qualifications:
- Successfully completed electrical engineering degree
- Sound knowledge of RF measurement technology
- Experience with SAP and Lean Six Sigma is desirable
- Good MS Office skills
- Very good knowledge of German and English
