NPI Software Specialist (m/f/d)

The Plasma Control Technologies division is a global leader in the development and production of high-performance vacuum capacitors, RF modules and RF generators as required in the manufacture of semiconductors, flat screens, solar cells and radio transmitters. At the German PCT site, the expertise is mainly in the field of RF generators.

We are looking for a

NPI Software Specialist (m/f/d)                                     

Your responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the implementation of software systems for testing and calibration of our products
• Creation of test specifications, implementation of new test modules in LabVIEW, C# and Python
• Commissioning and integration of new SW modules into the production process
• Support of the production in the area of test and test systems
• Continuous improvement and maintenance of existing software for test systems
• Change and release management of software modules
• Documentation work on the developed solutions in German and English
• Support of the test team in all activities during the test process
• Continuous coordination with technical departments and external development partners
• Close cooperation with the R&D team
   

Your qualifications:

• Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, computer science or physics or a comparable course of study.
• Experience in handling and setting up SQL databases
• Good LabVIEW knowledge
• Experience in the use of NI Teststand is helpful
• General experience in the design of software for test stands
• Good knowledge in C# software development is helpful
• Dealing with SW revision systems (GIT) is part of the daily routine
• Knowledge in script based languages like Python is welcome
• Knowledge of project and requirements management tools is helpful
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
