Comet PCT produces critical subsystems which are required for the precise control of plasma processes. They help to increase the performance of the manufacturing equipment used for the production of microchips or touch screens used in sensors, smartphones or tablets.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated and dynamic personality for our Division Plasma Control Technologies at our location in Flamatt as Quality Engineer (m/f/d).


In this function you will be entrusted with the following main tasks:
- Active participation in projects for product development
- Responsibility for defining and ensuring quality objectives in projects
- Responsibility for the provision of project-relevant quality KPIs
- Management and coordination of all quality relevant activities within a project or improvement process (D-FMEA, P-FMEA, EMPB, CP, FAI, Run@Rate, Audit)
- Analysis and evaluation of production rejects of project and series parts, and initiation of CIP related actions
- Define and lead teams to problem solve production related issues
- Supporting the review meeting and Q-circles according to QM specifications
- Participation in the decision group regarding design and process changes


For this function you bring the following requirements:
- Basic technical education (technician or engineer level)
- Experience in industrial production processes
- Experience in partial planning in an industrial production environment
- Experience in moderation of FMEAs desirable
- Familiar with regulations and normative requirements of the manufacturing industry e.g. ISO9001, automotive, medical or semiconductor guidelines
- Good written and spoken German and English
