  1. Main Tasks and targets

         This Repair and Refurbishment role will be responsible for overall performance of RMA department. In this role, leading the         

         repair team to continuously improve performance, quality, schedule, and cost. This person will develop recommendations and     

         improvement opportunities using CIP tools and techniques as well as using knowledge and expertise of Repair and

         Refurbishment business.


  1. Tasks/Responsibility
    • Oversee RMA operations from inbound to outbound of the RMA
    • Plan and coordinate daily activities for the RMA and Refurbishment teams
    • Directs cost reduction and process improvement to ensure efficiency of RMA operations and cost effectiveness
    • Develop and implement data analysis tools to continuously improve performance of the Repair, and Refurbishment centers and cost reductions
    • Partner with Quality and Engineering teams to improve product quality 
    • Analyze RMA labor requirements, implementing appropriate capacity decisions
    • Manage all activities with customer service, quoting, materials, quality control, manufacturing, and shipping to ensure all returned material is received, identified, analyzed, troubleshoot, repaired, and returned to the customer in an effective and timely manner.
    • Goal of reducing the TAT of RMA’s
    • Define appropriate KPIs and metrics to measure and monitor the productivity performance of RMA operation as well as improvement of customer experience
    • Responsible for calculating and maintaining appropriate levels of inventory to support RMA business
    • Responsible for making sure that RMA team have all the knowledge, tools, and information that they need to ensure the task is done successfully
    • Coach employees to develop a motivated and effective team


  1. Working experience/technical skills/know how
    • Science or Engineering degree and extensive production manufacturing management experience/ knowledge, or equivalent work experience.
    • 5+ years of Service Management experience
    • Excellent track record delivering against targets and driving accountability
    • People Management and Conflict Management Skills
    • Resource & Capacity Planning
    • Strong planning and organizational skills and change management experience
    • Excellent business acumen with a strong working knowledge of Employment law and Health & Safety
    • Excellent knowledge of and experience driving Process Improvement approaches (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, FPY, etc.)
    • Solid understanding of copy exact principles.
    • Able to speak and write English fluently and good technical communication skills.
    • Solid interpersonal skills related to dealing with suppliers.
    • SAP experience is a plus
