The Division Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) is Comet’s largest division and a global leader in developing and producing high-performance Vacuum Capacitors, RF Matches and RF Generators for the semiconductor industry.

 

What you will be doing?

 

  • Provide management, oversight and direction of inside sales activities for the Americas Region including:

    • Coordinating/liaisoning with appropriate departments to provide responses to technical inquiries.

    • Responding to inquiries regarding status of orders and resolving customer order difficulties.

    • Providing quote, order and shipment support – processing and tracking.

    • Providing internal sales reports when necessary.

    • Report any change in customer ordering trend

  • Ensure excellent long term customer relationship and satisfaction in line with company policies and values.

  • Manage/Conduct research, registration and planning of relevant trade shows, seminars and industry events in the Americas Region.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Americas Region sales pipeline and dashboard (now in SF)

  • Manage/Build, maintain and work mailing lists.

  • Contribute to the development and tracking of monthly forecasts and sales reports. Support RFC (quarterly) and MTP (yearly) forecasts.

  • Contribute to the proposal and review of contracts, such as supply agreements, distribution or representation contracts and others where applicable.

  • Coordinate with other functions and departments within the organization necessary to create and fulfill the Customers’ demand and for continuous improvement.

 

Who are we looking for?

 

  • 4 year technical degree or equivalent on the job work experience.

  • Strong experience in the B2B sales environment.

  • Strong Knowledge of sales management and general sales practices, incl. forecasting, quotations, contract negotiation and administration, lead generation and qualification.

  • Extensive knowledge of Company products and the Markets, Industries and Applications they serve.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient Microsoft Office user.

 

Work experience

  • A minimum of 5 years experience managing an inside sales and support team.

  • A minimum of 10 years experience in Sales, Marketing and Marketing Communicaitons for Technology products and/or services.

  • A minimum of 5 years experience with SAP.

  • Strong knowledge of Semiconductor, Broadcast or related technical markets.
