Key Account Manager, Comet Yxlon USA

In the Industrial X-Ray Systems division, we develop and produce radioscopic and CT inspection systems for a wide range of industrial applications in the electronics, aerospace or automotive industries.


This is what you will do:

  • Responsibility for defined Key Accounts including strategic planning as well as for building and maintaining relationships
  • to the defined Key Accounts and partners
  • Analysis and review of existing and potential Key Accounts, forecast of sales and market potential for Key Accounts
  • and strategic Key Accounts
  • Responsibility for keeping the Key Account plans and strategies up to date as well as their communication in the organization
  • KA marketing activities, pricing and service strategies, and value propositions in collaboration with Product-Marketing
  • Participate in high-level meetings with KAs, AVL benchmarks and negotiations
  • Participation in trade fairs and specialist conferences
  • Creation of a virtual KA team for the defined KAs
  • Travel activity of 40-60%



What you will bring with you: 

  • Bachelor of Arts/Science in Completed studies in the field of industrial engineering, electrical engineering, business administration
  • or comparable training
  • Master of Arts/Science in Completed studies in the field of industrial engineering, electrical engineering, business administration
  • or comparable training
  • Continuing education to
  • Professional experience Several years of relevant professional experience in sales, ideally in the industrial sector
  • X-ray/CT technology or in the electronics industry


Professional competence / technical knowledge / foreign languages ​​(e.g. sap, sps, negotiation skills, etc.)

Experience in the sale of capital goods that require explanation, with industrial X-ray/CT an advantage

Fluency in English, other foreign languages ​​are an advantage

Safe handling of MS Office tools and CRM systems


Social skills (e.g. customer-oriented, conflict management, etc.)

Excellent negotiation and communication skills
