The Division Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) is Comet’s largest division and a global leader in developing and producing high-performance Vacuum Capacitors, RF Matches and RF Generators for the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) to key account, while leading and liaising between cross-functional teams (Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Quality) to develop program plans, establish schedules, and facilitate project execution to coordinate the release of new products and product upgrades.
  • Own and drive program expectations to meet or exceed targets in terms of product (performance, quality, technology) and project (scope, schedule, budget).
  • Direct the conception, prioritization, review, and continuous updating of product requirements and be a resource in best known methods for continual improvement.
  • Communicating, with agility, the essence of our team’s progress and challenges to both technical and non-technical audiences to facilitate efficient and collaborative team meetings (agenda and attendees), remove obstacles, monitor and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage major risks and issues through effective contingency plans and proper escalation.
  • Ensure the team delivers a high quality product within cost and with the ability to scale at the customer’s planned production release.
  • Influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members making necessary decisions/corrections to achieve all program goals.
  • Requires 5% of domestic and international travel.

 

Experience, Education, and Skills Required:

 

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field and two (2) years of experience as an Electrical Engineer or a related role. 

 

  • Experience in:

 

  • Jira/Confluence (for work planning, assignment, and tracking, as well as documentation);
  • knowledge of the theory behind RF Impedance Matching, specifically the challenges in electronics circuits, both analog and digital;
  • Engineering tools such as Altium and Spice, used for design and simulation; and
  • Commercial/business case of various projects with technical requirements and enforcing priority.
