Regional Sales Mgr - Comet Yxlon (SF Bay Area)

This Regional Sales Manager role will be based in San Jose, CA vicinity.
What will you do?
- Increase sales volume and revenue and achieve sales targets
- Expansion of existing markets and identification and acquisition of new customers in the region
- Contract negotiation, pricing as well as preparation of quotations
- Contract review after receipt of order and execution of commercial feasibility study
- Formulation of local sales and marketing strategies
- Providing application and product training and informing customers about the latest product developments
- Develop pricing strategies based on local market conditions
- Preparation of short- and long-term sales forecasts
- Establishing contacts and developing close relationships
- Market monitoring and analysis of relevant market information/trends
- Reporting on regional sales activities including creation of visit reports
- Order entry planning through CRM software
- Participation in trade fairs and conferences
- Travel activity of approx. 80%
Who are we looking for?
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Completed studies in business administration, marketing or engineering or a comparable course of studies
- Several years of relevant professional experience in sales, marketing or business development
- Experience in sales of capital goods requiring explanation, with industrial X-ray/CT an advantage
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Customer and results orientation
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to motivate
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in key technologies (MS Office, SAP, CRM tools, etc.)
- Willingness to travel
Compensation for this sales role is comprised of base salary and Sales Incentive Compensation ("commission"). The total target cash compensation for this role is approximately $210,000 to $220,000 annual.
