Job Responsibilities:
- Participate the development & execution of sourcing strategies;
- Evaluate current and anticipated requirements, determine potential sources, obtain bids, and plan programs to meet business needs;
- Achieve lowest possible cost for material, balanced against optimum quality and schedule needs;
- Support or Implement purchase contracts and assure compliant acquisition of material or service that meet applicable company and government regulations;
- Build and maintain close relationships with suppliers and driving early supplier engagement into New Product Introduction (NPI) process, and long-term partnership;
- Perform continual market analysis and monitor supplier progress;
- To be Responsible for purchase administration and order processing using ERP system, and delivery follow up;
- Initiate supplier improvement activities including price, quantity, delivery time with suppliers but not limited;
- To coordinate with Logistic department to ensure shipment time and optimize inventory level;
- MRO purchasing and management;
- To support other tasks assigned by Supply Chain Manager;
Job requirements
- Bachelor degree with technical background or equivalent or equivalent.
- Good at writing and spoken English
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive Sourcing and purchasing experience for multinational company in Electronic, Mechanical, Semiconductor industry.
- Proven proficiency in using MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.
- Strong analytical skills. Great attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a team based corporate culture.
- Superior communication skills with strong negotiation skill;
- Detail-oriented, hardworking;
- SAP experience is an advantage.
