• Responsible for the sales of COMET´s Industrial X-Ray Portfolio

• Responsible to lead the portable x-ray product line sales strategy for North America

• Manage and further develop existing customer base and strategically focus on the acquisition of new customers and contacts

• Develop leads and increase incoming orders and sales though customer visits, industry trade shows, and networking to increase market share

• Identify customer needs / industry challenges and present COMET solutions

• Gain insight and understanding of trends in the Non-Destructive Testing market as well as adjacent industry segments
• Create, present to management, and implement business cases for business development or product development projects
• Ability to translate benefits and features of new technology to facilitate customer adoption of next generation products
• Lead negotiations and close contracts with customers and partners
• Manage contacts, quotes, and orders in CRM system

• Manage key accounts, penetrate complex organizations and build strong, long lasting, customer relationships

• Develop and maintain accurate Sales forecasts

• Interpret technical requirements of the customer
• Deliver accurate and timely reporting such as weekly/monthly reporting meeting/event reports as well as building and using country and territory planning
• Collaborate with R&D in the definition of new products to serve the market segment
• Be strategic in converting technology and sales ideas to drive new business
• Ability to work with internal Customer Service and Technical Services Teams in delivering exemplary customer experiences
• Excellent communication skills

Initial and Continued Training, Special Knowledge:
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in sales / business development or relevant customer facing roles

• Bachelor’s degree in a Mechanical/Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related fields preferred, but not mandatory

• Ability to combine technical and commercial aspects of the Sales and Business Development process to build customer value      proposition
• Record of selling to both large and small companies and developing strategic key accounts
• Display a proven ability to build strong relationships
• Professional approach to customers and colleagues

• Demonstrate high level of energy and embrace the opportunity to work in a team-based organization and have the curiosity                  inherent in learning new skills
• Ability and willingness to travel within North  America as well as occasional travel to Europe

Personal Competence (Social Competence, Managerial Competence):
• Fluent in English;   Spanish, German or French language skill is a plus
• Results oriented, sense of urgency, and ability to adapt to change are required

• Intrinsically motivated to achieve personal and business goals

• Ability and willingness to learn market segments to support team goals

• Team mentality with ability and desire to support the greater team
• Demonstrate familiarity and application knowledge of commonly used PC based programs (MS Office, Salesforce, SAP, etc.)
